Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this course, participants will be proficient in:

1. Injection Techniques:

    • Administering on-label mid-face and lower face fillers, including cheeks, lips, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and chin.

2. Facial Anatomy & Physiology:

    • Understanding the key facial anatomical structures, including vessels, muscles, fat pads, bone, and their relation to injectable treatments.
    • Understanding the anatomy of facial muscles and their role in the aesthetic
      outcome of neuromodulator and filler treatments.
    • Analyzing the process of facial aging and how it affects the skin and underlying facial structures.

3. Consultation & Patient Screening:

    • Mastering the consultative process and conducting proper patient assessments.
    • Effectively selecting and screening patients to ensure suitability for injectable treatments.

4. Injection Techniques & Safety:

Prerequisites:

  • A valid California medical license (MD, DO, PA, NP, RN, DDS, or DMD).
  • Proof of malpractice insurance.
  • A copy of your current medical, nursing, or physician assistant license must be emailed at least 2 weeks prior to the course date.
  • Participants must bring their own model. (Model and/or malpractice insurance can be provided for an additional cost).
